“I had high hopes for this product but after 8 weeks of use I have had to stop. I bought this product to help with blackheads (my skin was otherwise free from acne) but since starting it I have developed the most horrendous acne on my chin, jaw, neck and cheeks. I thought at first it was just purging but as the weeks went by it has just gotten worse. My skin is covered in a mixture of sore lumps, huge acne spots and whiteheads and I’m devastated as I have used Dermalogica products before and have always been very happy.”
“Since trying Active Clearing range, I have had the worst breakouts on my chin/jawline in years of using Dermalogica products. Very disappointed. I’m still using Dermalogica products but have gone back to basics again as the Active Clearing range doesn’t work for me and I’m now left with blemishes/scarring from what I can describe as some form of skin purging. I’m trying retinol oil to see if it will help clear my skin, using every other night with special cleansing gel, active moist and multi active toner.”
