You are correct, PreCleanse will remove everything which is sitting on your skin. This includes make-up, sunscreens, dust and pollutants, to name just a few. You can then go on to cleanse your skin with your second cleanse, skin specific cleanser. This is what skin therapists refer to as the double cleanse.
