“Venue was easy to find, in a shopping arcade. We had tried to book but our payment wouldn’t go through so we just turned up when ready and luckily no other games were on so we could start straightaway.
This VR experience is open roaming so your not tethered with a back pack and bulky equipment, you get a headset and two handheld controllers.
The equipment was light weight and easy to get the hang of. We chose The Warp game which took 25 minutes to play and then in with the price we got two 10 minute sessions on Battlements. This is far more than the usual VR experience that we tend to find in an amusement arcade and so reasonably priced.
Our kids are 11 and 9 and they absolutely loved it. The Warp game was a bit scary but only in the sense of that it makes you jump. They were both asking if we could go again halfway through the first game!
Staff have said more games might come out and they’re looking to possibly accommodate birthday parties. We won’t hesitate to go back when we’re back in Skegness and if you’re a gamer it’s a must try!
