“We love this ceramics cafe the value for money is great and the staff are on hand to help with anything you may need. They are so friendly and really go the extra mile to help you make something you will cherish. There is nearby parking but make sure to have change. The closest car park is free on a Sunday. The ceramics to choose are all displayed on a higher level so I always feel less worried about my son wandering too close or knocking things over. Tables give lots of space and plenty of tools to use so no need to worry about re-washing brushes with younger ones. My son is 5 and gets through loads of brushes but this means he can fully focus on getting creative! Pencils are great to draw on designs and then rub out if there is a mistake, you can even rub out the paint. Perfect for when my son went a bit overboard and got upset about going outside the lines. Staff are keen to share techniques to help get the best finish as the colours change during the glazing process. There are loads of examples on the walls and they will teach you the best way to use to extensive collection of stencils/sponges they have on offer. They also have paint pens so I add the finer details or edges to my son's design to make it stand out. Snacks and coffees are lovely and the staff come to you so it's easy to keep a close eye on your little one(s). All these little things just make it incredibly easy as your soul focus can be creating a beautiful ceramic and relaxing with a coffee! There's a customer sink so my son can be independent and wash his hands when the dry paint starts to irritate him! A single parent's paradise, just a lovely quiet way to spend a morning/afternoon and the finished pieces are adorable keepsakes.”
