“Venue good, staff excellent but don’t book a lane on their premium phone number.. I’ve been charged £5.57 for phoning up to book a lane at the Ashford Hollywood bowl.. This is outrageous - thought I was calling an Ashford local number when in fact it is a 0844 number. The call was only for 6 minutes, what a rip off. Certainly won’t be using that service again.
Hollywood bowl blamed my mobile supplier for the charges.. surely it’s Hollywood bowl that decided to use an 0844 number that gave me the charges.”
