“We had a great day trip out and the kids had a great time, aged 1 to 8. We picked up a map and followed the easy path through the woods following the Gruffalo trail. There are longer more difficult paths to follow and also lots of bike trails. We had a picnic in the shaded picnic area in the woods where we met the Gruffalo, this is also where you will find the Go Ape activities. You can hire bikes, we had some scooters which were fine on most of the easy paths. We had no problem with the buggy, the easy path was also suitable for wheelchairs. At the main area there is also a cafe, toilets, sand pit playground and an ice cream hut. We were there about 4 hours but you could easily be much longer doing a longer route or bringing or hiring bikes. The only charge is parking, £5 for 4 hours, £7 all day at park times. A recommended day out.”
