“A sad state of affairs !!
A shame because I don’t like bad mouthing small business !
Don’t be fooled by the glossy website . This place is a dive ! Hardly
Any animals there, and if there is you can’t see half of them, small enclosures that have the bare minimum in them. Small glass windows that you will have to lift kids up to see through. I’m no zoo keeper but the animal welfare didn’t look great to me . The maned wolf they have was just pacing around in circles, enclosures overgrown with weeds and the whole place very run down. Kids play area reeks of damp.
Paid £28 for 2 adults (on the day price) kids went free as under 2
Honestly a real disappointment. Needs a complete overhaul. Rip off !!”
“Was a lovely visit albeit snowy outside so many animals were nestled indoor. But a really nice thing to do and we had a cozy lunch afterwards in their cafe. Lovely staff.”
“£10 per adult, £8 per child
Very few animals, all of them in tiny cages and yet you still can't see any of them
Flooring is almost impossible to move a pushchair on
Planned for a day out with the kids but unless you pay extra to interact with the animals or have a tour, you'll be hard pushed to make it last longer than half hour
Took longer to drive to the place than walk around it and the almost dangerous road that leads to the entrance only added to the travel time”
