“We took our children aged 11 and 7 during Summer 2021 when there were strict restrictions in place. This meant that there were timed slots on your ticket, fewer tourists allowed in and clear routes to follow. It was a brilliant way to enjoy the attraction without large crowds and long queues. All staff were very friendly and helpful and the interactive guide was really interesting. There were guides aimed at the children too which were really good and taught them loads of interesting facts about the castle and the Royal family. We were there for around 4 hours and there was plenty to see, not least the amazing gift shops”
