“Fantastic Family Day Out!
On arrival we were greeted by a friendly guy in the car park advising us where to park and how to enter the attraction.
The Farm is fantastic, sheep racing, feeding the animals etc it is very big and so much to do! All ages are catered for. The play gym was wild! The kids loved it, it was also included within the entry price for the farm so even better for us. We went into the shops and restaurant to eat. Everywhere was so clean and well looked after. The food was fresh and tasty. Staff welcoming and all were in uniform - very smart. There were lots of areas to have picnics and take 5 as an when required, which was good for our disabled friend. The whole day was perfect. Other than us running out of time :) We will be back and will plan to spend the whole day there.”
“It has always been a grand day out, but now there is a woodland trail, at present now until end April i think.
When this is not on you can download a couple of nature sheets.
We had 3 children from 4-10 and would recommend it !There is a huge dragon made of willow in one of the fantastic old knarled trees and further on there are musical instruments tubular bells etc for them to make tunes with. When they have made up the word from the letters hanging by the story telling chair etc they collect a sticker from the Hall reception.
Alice is in the Potting shed garden display just down from the front of the house, and if you go into the walled garden andleft through the arch open the big door and you can go through the Victorian kitchen and dress up in the servants dining room. Next door there are toilets. Take a picnic and steer the kids away from the swan peddleo's and all you need is icecream money.”
