“Aztec is amazing!
It's so cool. I always make new friends when I come here. My daddy and grandma have coffee, tea, snacks and cakes while I play. It's big enough for my daddy to come and play with me too.
It's truly amazing!
My favourite part is the blue slide because it is super fast. I like the hotdogs and rice crispy cakes. I haven't done the laser party yet but I think it looks like fun.
There's lots of places to climb up and crawl under and it feels like a nice place to be.
I love Aztec.”
“Used to thoroughly enjoy our time at Aztec before Christmas 2022 had been taking my kids for years which was a joyful experience, staff were always very friendly, helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. HOWEVER, all original staff have since left and it has all new faces. Unfortunately aztec has since developed lots of issues since the change up, there is no organisation with the new staff. Laura behind the counter who I believe is in charge can be rude and belittling to her staff (which I have witnessed myself when waiting to be served)!! There was an issue with the coffee machine on my latest visit, I was told no hot drinks as the engineer was here to look at it but then the lady behind me in the cue managed to get two hot drinks? On 2 previous visits they had no wraps and told me they were hard to get ordered in (bearing in mind Aztec is a stone throw away from supermarkets and shops to purchase some in the meantime). They also had no children’s drinks (fruitshoots) only bottles of oasis! I recently attended “toddler morning” which states juice and a biscuit included - again never received this! Is it discombobulated chaos behind the counter as new staff are plonked serving customers and haven’t a clue how to work the tills, use the coffee machine or where anything is and when seeking support from their manager (Laura) they are met with an abrupt, belittling attitude! I feel quite sorry for the new staff under this management as none of them seem to know their roles and again discussions regarding who’s doing what is happening at the counter while customers are building in a cue (unprofessional). Oh and lastly when I order a latte I expect the cup to be full to the top at £3 each however each coffee I order can vary, some times it can be full, some times it’s around an inch off full at the top of the glass mug! It’s very disappointing when I pay £13 for two of my children to play (age 2 & 4) and there is always an issue whether it’s food, drinks or service especially when it costs that much! Won’t be back in a hurry, I will be attending wee rascalz instead!!”
