“Came here with my family. Everything is displayed very well. It was exciting to see original findings from the vikings. The ride in the capsules through the centre is very educational and interesting. You feel immersed in the viking world. It was short but good! There wasn't too much to see after that but they did have a great area for children to dig and find artefacts. Friendly staff explained very well about the artefacts in the cases. Very cool skeletons as well. Great fun for the whole family.”
“We visited Jorvik Viking Centre just after it re-opened after a major refurbishment. Found the ride around the viking village brilliant, but the displays at the end were not as exciting. Highly recommend for older children / teenagers - not too much to keep younger children excited. Great value for money though and highly educational.”
