Museum of Carpet Reviews

A great little museum. Plenty of interactive stuff to keep my 10 and 17 year olds busy and engaged. Working hand looms. Opportunities to design your own carpets. Staff and volunteers are super friendly and helpful. The summer show, which was on when we visited, was great too.

This is a small place but packs a punch and is really kid friendly. I went with my 2 and 6 year old. There is dressing up, a lovely little reading area and the staff are available (and very lovely) to do crafts with the kids. And there is the actual exhibits themselves, the kids get to make carpet designs and do a bit of weaving. This place is small but adorable and an easy way to spend a few hours. Also, it's next door to Morrison's so you don't have to travel far for a cafe!
