“We visited on a weekday in March, and it was not what we were expecting at all. I think we were pretty much the only visitors there and everyone else were students. We didn't mind, but it was a little bit strange to be the only family in a canteen style restaurant where everyone else was a student! I think at the weekends there is a cafe which is probably more suitable for a family with a toddler, but this wasn't open when we visited. After having our lunch we were keen to find baby changing facilities and asked several separate people where they were and ended up walking all round this building where people were working, going up and down in lifts and never found any baby changing facilities. Eventually we discovered one changing table in the ladies' toilets near the entrance. Another issue- there are LOTS of steps. We've never visited anywhere where we had to carry the pushchair up and down so many sets of steps. Also, if you visit in winter/ rainy weather with a pushchair many paths are too wet and boggy to be accessible. The gardens were nice and our toddler enjoyed looking at the rabbits and guinea pigs. I think on a lovely sunny day we probably could have overlooked some of the faults, but on a rainy day in March the lack of facilities for babies and poor pushchair access spoiled the day for us a bit and we didn't stay long.”
