“absolutely disgusted with the treatment we got at air unlimited this morning in speke. last week rang and asked on if my child who has cerberal palsy and were a splint could go and use the soft trainers we have for going places like that and they said yes so booked as a group with friends to go today roll up 15minutes before like they say only to be then told that my child wouldn't be able to go the facilities with his shoes on, I showed them the shoes explained why and that we had phoned before booking and still refused so stood there with my child who's being told he can't to on to then be told money wouldn't be refunded for 24hrs. I then said we'll if I put socks on over his splint and do it that way so the kids that came with us wouldn't be let done, he asked to see the splint so had to lift my child up who is six for us to be then told no. In the whole time I have been dealing with Reggie and his disability have I have never ever put him in a position where he's is made to feel different and not included and today he had to face this and it broke my heart and also in front of friends who had been looking forward to going aswell what happened to 2024 and been an inclusive society for those with disabilities the shoes we have purposely are soft with no fastenings on so he can be included in things like this”
