“On Monday the 29th August I visited Capel Manor gardens and the Cinderella production. The production was terrible all the little girls had dressed up in their pretty party dresses , the production didn’t involve any of the children at all which is normal when you go to see Cinderella. The people on stage were not even dressed up I can’t call them actors because they definitely were not by the interval the children were bored. The raffle; well Capel Manor got a lot out of that which is more than the audience in particular the children. Why , the prizes, one box of chocolates and two bottles of wine and for the children? Nothing at all . couldn’t there have been prizes for the children and involved them in that? it doesn’t take much to keep children happy let them pick the tickets out buy some sweets and prizes for the children. I hope this is read by people planning to visit other productions at Capel Manor and give it a wide berth. Stick to what you are good at Capel Manor, Gardening, certainly not theatre productions. For the money you charged a lot more should have been done. A lot of very disappointed children and audience.”
“An amazing event for children which was very well organised and the displays were amazing. plenty of activities, such as broomstick making, lantern making and pumpkin carving which successfully keeps the children busy with excitement. I shall definitely visit again for the Christmas and Easter events because the time and effort put into this was transparent as soon as you enter creepy manor, also very friendly and welcoming staff.”
