Lovely farm with farm workers that are passionate about the animals they care for. We always have a nice day and have even had good rainy days there. Staff are happy to answer questions about the animals welfare when you ask.

From the beginning to the end, not a good experience. The map given was confusing, even a member of staff said it was confusing. On a pirates and mermaid day which cost me £44, There were only 2 pirates to be seen, no mermaids ( obviously couldn’t get anyone to dress up that day) which is the sole reason I booked, granddaughter very disappointed. The petting shed had no animals out to pet, or a member of staff at hand to help. The play barn had a 1 slide in and a load of straw, all the other animals were in small compounds. The ferrets had a very strong smell of urine, and I understand completely that they are animals and need cleaning out, but the smell of ammonia made my eyes water. We stayed 40 mins, if that it as it was such a let down, wouldn’t advise. Asked for a refund by email only to be told, their staff work very hard, which I never ever said they didn’t, and on that basis, not my experience, no refund, not even a token

Came for lunch. Very disappointed with the chicken and ham bake. It was just a puff pastry pasty with very little filling and not worth nearly £10.

This place is fantastic. So many options of things to do from food and farm to playarwa and garden centre or farm shop. We have visited numerous times in rain and sun and it never dissapoints. They have a website and facebook page to keep up to datw with any information regarding events, bookings or opening times.

Visited during summer holidays and sadły, for the second time, found that the advertised activities did not take place. Very disappointingly when you have a small child looking forward to something. I think they do not have enough staff for their plans.
