“Fantastic park full of beautiful happy animals . The staff gave lots of info if your interested and you can spend hours watching the elephant herd , Kari the lion , the 2 sister rhinoceros, the Gorillas (a huge silver back ) sat a few feet away and ate his dinner while I watched him . They are so relaxed and it was beautiful to share this with my daughter who loved it too .”
“We had a great day here. It was very hot but was plenty of shade for us humans to go to. Some of the animals were clearly also shading and resting in the warmth. The enclosures were so well designed and the animals clearly looked happy and well cared for. The Lemur experience was on offer and absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend!”
“we had an amazing day arrived at 8.30 didnt leave till 4.30, the animals were well keep contented and their habitats were amazing, we took part in a dhole experience and gave enrichment to the painted dogs, which the kids loved and Josh was extremely informative and answered all the kids questions.
the pavillion resturant food was amazing and we cant wait to go back again”
“I was absolutely appalled by the size of the enclosures the gorillas were In. We saved these till last thing before Leaving.they were in aVery small cage and it left a very bad taste in my mouth in the terms of that they are in your care for apparently the better cause? . All the time people pay to see these animals In cages especially the gorillas are apart of the problem and I also become apart of that problem too myself.everything else was set out wonderfully and all the animals bar the gorillas had plenty of room.
Very disappointed as never been there before and waited many years before visiting. Unfortunately due to them circumstances I wouldn’t visit again. I honestly though London zoo gorilla enclosure was small.”
“We had prebooked tickets and that made it so easy with the friendly staff.
The zoo in general was very clean and all enclosures were tidy with lots of enrichment for there inhabitants.
Ranger Charlie was amazing in the way he put over the Gorilla talk and also very happy to talk and answer questions.
The only down side was that the Kiri kiosk was ment to open at 1100 but the operator arrived at 1100 and didn't open till 1120.
Overall the day was a great success and we would happily return.”
