“We had a shirt stay in ilfacombe its the second time we have visited the aquarium and all I have to say is it maybe be small but it's lovely. The staff are very friendly and really enthusiastic about it and the seaside in the aquarium. The staff were quite young but very engaging and enthusiastic and approached u talking about the sea life. My favourite was the octopus it was a great experience. And would recommend it to anyone. Plus if yr hungry or thirsty u have the little cafe next to it and can sit upstairs on the balcony or downstairs. You get table service and again staff are very friendly. I just wish the aquarium was bigger. But lovely place and not to expensive. Keep up the good work.”
“Really lovely little Aquarium. All staff are so welcoming and cannot do enough to make your visit enjoyable. Aquarium has some AMAZING local sealife A member of staff got a starfish out for the children to touch which was very exciting for them.
The giftshop is not overpriced at all.
Prior to our visiting I emailed with regards to the cafe menu and gluten free options. They were most responsive, even replying back to me out of hours. They actual have the most Amazing gluten free pasties and cakes. We were very impressed, best thing we ate so far on our trip.
Overall we had a great time here. Thankyou to all the lovely staff
