“I have a love and hate relationship with the Mirror Gold Stick-It. Pros: - it looks stunning. Cons: - it is very thick and hard on the hands to cut it. - the protective film covers small imperfections which you only notice and realize once the lampshade is all made up and you remove the film before posting it. It is a real bummer, I had to remake several lampshades because of this. Small bumps, dents and even long 'lines' in the material itself (which was not made by me) - because of the above now I always remove the film before and check it for imperfections, then reapply the protective film to keep it safe while making the lampshade. So yes, I dislike working with this material very much. Wishing the quality would improve. I noticed less imperfections with the Copper mirror.”
