We normally have the Dalby Gold but this is equally as good. Burns hotter than any other logs so you need less, quality is excellent. They cut them smaller for our small stove, excellent service and would highly recommend.

Even before you light up they look fantastic. Then the first time you burn these logs you will realise what a good choice you made. They burn with a woody aroma which is frankly intoxicating. But then boy do they pump out some heat. And then they don’t just quickly die to powdery grey ash, they linger as bright ruby nuggets warming the whole house long into the night.

The logs were just the right size for my open fire and burnt very well giving off a lot of heat. I will certainly order more kiln dried logs for next winter.

Lovely. As promised, they light easily and burn slowly.

We have had mixed Dalby hardwood before and also hardwood from a cheaper source. However, the Dalby wood is so much better that it is better value than using cheaper which burns very fast and not so warm. This is the first time for birch and we will probably stick with it in the future, as it burns hot (but not too hot) and burns slowly as long as the burner is set for slow burning. Great quality and reliable. Now all we need is a really cold spell to make the cosy fire even better!
