“Yes, the high quality of the wood logs gives superb heat, which radiates through the house. I have 2 log burners but, in truth, with such heat, I only use one for most of the winter.
I use the smallest size logs; they are easy to store, to carry, and to fit readily into my burner.
The very large bags, of high quality seasoned, dried ash, are great value for money in the long term. I know now from experience that burning these longs leaves my burner in much better shape; day to day cleaning is minimal and the chimney is rendered safe.
