“It seems impossible nowadays to get a perspex shower screen for a bathtub. So, as the girlfriend kept pestering me to replace the shower curtain with something nicer my arm was twisted to get a glass shower screen. I knew it wouldn't be big enough, but she begged to differ. Why could i not just get a glass one that would be big enough? 1. They weigh a tonne; 2. My wall would probably collapse; 3. They're crazy expensive. So we tried the glass one... no good. "What are you going to do now?" She says. "Make one myself!" I say. All i need is to find somewhere that sells perspex. "Okay..." she says. Ye of little faith.

Why i like my clear perspex extruded acrylic:
1. It's light; 2. It's crystal clear; 3. it gets cut to precisely the size i need; 4. The finish is tidy; 5. the cost is excellent - less than half the price of one of those glass behemoths i almost bought.
I still haven't been able to sell the glass one i tried. Oh why did i not find this website sooner.
