“This upgrade was definitely worthwhile. The actual banner seemed stuck when I first tried to pull it out of the base. I looked for instructions or perhaps a release button, but neither existed. I ultimately needed a screwdriver to gently nudge it out of the retractor slot. Once I did that, everything rolled up smoothly. When you decide to retract the banner after having it completely displayed, you need to carefully guide it back into the base because it can retract off center and unevenly. It would be nice if there were guides to keep it retracting straight. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, a solid purchase.”
