Most courses include simple templates and checklists you can try with your team straight away. Big positives: it’s affordable, accessible, and gives you solid tools you can use from day one. Downsides: it’s broad rather than deep, quality varies by provider, and assessments are usually multiple-choice. It’s also not the same as a regulated qualification unless stated. Best for new supervisors, aspiring team leads, or anyone preparing for that next step. To get the most from it, link the course to a real goal at work, keep a quick reflection log, and consider a next step like ILM/CMI Level 3 when you’re ready.”
