“I found the training too content heavy with lots of information that felt unnecessary and irrelevant. The structure made it really unmotivating to complete. It was not engaging at all and feel as if the information is difficult to retain. The E learning needs to be short and snappy and engaging. We do not need to know the detail of every clause.”

“The AI voice was very irrating as they kept pronouncing 'Data' differently, it also cannot understand bullet points and pausing so rambled along with no context. I ended up turning the speaker off for each section which should be an option at the start to enable the AI voice to be silent the whole way through the course.”

“There is a lot of necessary information that is delivered in as concise a way as possible. However, the quiz at the end only asks you to retain information rather than apply it. I would have benefited from being asked to apply the knowledge I have gained. The use of examples is helpful but they are large scale, maybe a scenario (fictitious or not) that is smaller scale could have been beneficial too. A google search can remind me of the specific Act the information can be found in but if I am in a situation that requires me to know the Act's information that would be what I wanted to be tested on. I am aware that it is difficult to apply to lots of situations but if there was a way I believe that would be beneficial and help retain knowledge.”

“Needs a bit of updating - refers to March 2024 as being in the future, no mention of soft opt-in which will be important to a lot of organisations. Could do with more every-day examples, and probably less on penalties. You state that "All businesses, organisations and sole traders that process personal data must register with the ICO" - this is not true, particularly for charities.”
