“The information is there and the IT works well. However, as an educator I'm concerned that the course is very dry and seems unlikely to really equip people to improve the safeguarding of adults in the real world. The best part was the single case study. Applying knowledge to case studies as the assessment of this course would actually enhance learners understanding of real issues and improve outcomes in our communities. The multiple choice quiz is simply testing memory and is little more than a box ticking exercise. It proves people have read the information. It does not seem likely to improve outcomes for vulnerable adults.”
