“After several phone calls to the team at cooleasy, I opted for the 4kw 12000btu DESIGNER Air Conditioning unit. Each phone call was great as the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the unit just before lunch and it arrived, well packed, around lunch time the following day. As the unit is pregased and as I'd ordered the flex pipe in addition to this unit, it meant that using half decent diy skills....I was able to install it myself and was back working in my garden office within 3ish hours. I set the unit to 22c and it cooled the entire room pretty quickly....perfect. It can if needed, go colder! To install I: laid all the pieces out decided the best location sat the external unit in place and screwed it to the floor made sure the length of pipe I'd ordered would actual fit from the internal unit to the external unit mounted the internal frame which the internal unit hangs on drilled a hole through the wall (ensuring it sloped downwards a little to ensure smooth run off for the condensation pipe) connected the 2 flex pipes (each pipe is a different size so you can't get it wrong) connected the condensation pipe supplied fed all the pipes and the black power cable through the wall (you don't need a power socket outside as the external unit is powered by the internal unit which you simply plug in to the mains) lifted the unit in to place whilst still feeding the pipes through the wall (this bit was tricky as I had nobody to help) clicked it in to place connected the black power cable on the outside to a cut off switch connected the cut off switch to the external unit connected the 2 pipes to the external unit (again 2 different sizes so you would struggle to get it wrong) read the gas charging instructions several times before proceeding to open the valves as I wanted to make sure I got it right! checked for leaks plugged the internal unit in to a mains socket (as it comes supplied with a 3 pin plug) turned it on and hey presto....a cool room. OK I'm not a pro which means I only get the 1 years warranty instead of the 5 years and a professional AC engineer would probably pull my install apart...but to cut a long story short...my experience with cooleasy was great from start to finish and the unit is doing exactly what I need it too....and it looks nice, which is a bonus!”

“Really impressed, better than I thought. Easy install as well, took about 4 hours. Wife is so happy now the conservatory is cool. Heating is nice as night if it gets a bit nippy too. Really surprised how well they heat.”
