Someone drove into the back of my car, just days after I took out my car insurance policy. I didn't get a replacement vehicle because the driver of the other car failed to tell their insurance company and then attempted to "ghost" my claim. So I was without a car for 10 days. I managed to get a witness to the crash and file a police report: Privilege made a simple but important mistake by putting the wrong location postcode on the claim going to court. If I hadn't noticed this error the other driver may have got away with it. Then I heard nothing from Privilege so I don't know the outcome. But. And this is important to me: Privilege have renewed my policy, given me a price that matches the lowest offered on the comparison websites and I my no claims bonus has not been effected. So I am happy to stay with them.
