I needed to make a claim on the added extra emergency repairs insurance for a gas boiler failure. This was handled quickly and the boiler was running but only on bypass reset with a failed controller card which the engineer said he had ordered. Resets were continually required but I was told that the Boiler can now be running and no emergency now exists.
No further action was forthcoming and a robust discussion was required with the insurer to have the repair completed. However it was repaired under the insurance eventually.”
