“A very bad experience with Aviva. The policy that I received was different to the quote I generated with Confused.com - despite me not making any changes to it. When I tried to correct the error, which I believe was Aviva's fault, they wanted to charge me £5-99.
I cannot cancel my policy online (it doesn't work), and they don't have an email address. I found an 0800 number and I spent 20 minutes with an advisor going through submitting a cancellation form. The following day I received an email from Aviva (from an account you can't reply to) saying they couldn't find my account and suggested I call the SAME 0800 number. I have called again, and they can't cancel the policy, but they are sending a message to someone else who will be able to do so (they say). I have made a complaint already, as it has taken me three days (so far) to cancel my account. Totally unacceptable.”
