“I phoned Lloyds to check through my quote, spoke to an advisor who confirmed a few of my queries so I felt happy to go ahead with the policy which included more benefits than my old one at a lower price.”
“Purchasing a new policy was quite straightfoward. Compared with other insurers, Lloyds appears to be good value, without being suspiciously cheap. (Actually, the insurer is AXA, who have some arrangement to use the Lloyds name.) I haven't had to make a claim yet, though, so I cannot tell what pitfalls there may be.”
