“Whilst they initially provided a competitive quote, due to an error from Confused.com I had to update my address information. The new address is 1 mile from the old address but would have lead to a £125 increase in premium which is over 30% of the original price.
Furthermore, they have insisted on charging a £25 cancellation fee, when the policy is 20 days away from commencing and i realised the error less than 12 hours after the policy was taken out.
Upon trying to resolve this with them, the customer service agent was not understanding at all, simply quoting policy and saying there was no other solution they could follow. This has lead to a negative customer experience and i have no want to use RAC or Confused.com again.”
