“Sadly, Aviva answered from South Africa, not the UK, but confused.com offered “free” “legal” with Aviva, yet their roadside was £30 higher then Swift. The ONLY reason I went with Aviva, is because I read through EACH page of their documents, which clearly sated “90 days of travel to the EU is comprehensive cover PER TRIP”, where as Swift was hidden as “90 days PER POLICY YEAR”.
The different details are so confusing to understand, and each provider changes their own rules EACH year. What a hassle but at least I got what I needed from calling them — which was a real hassle to find their number, and make it through the automated system, to actually talk to someone, who explained that if I bought it online, it would be cheaper, but I was able to get the information from the agent, in order to buy with confidence, and get to read the policy before purchase. Car insurance should NOT be this confusing. Nobody is winning here.”
