“Bought a plus policy as it was more competitive than other companies. The only downside was that they put an extra £250 excess on top of the compulsory £300 excess purely for the type of car. It is an Audi Quattro allroad, 2ltr which should not warrant an extra excess, especially given I have 20yrs+ no claims on my policy.
Any insurance is only proved for its value in the event of a claim, which hopefully will not occur.”
