Other providers were quoting lower excesses for Contents than Buildings, but Sure Thing insisted on a compulsory excess of £350 regardless of whether the claim was for Buildings or a small Contents loss. I eventually went with Allianz who were prepared to offer an excess of only £50 for Contents claims.”
