First off, I ordered the insurance online, they then sent me paper documents which I had to go through and sign and send back (I know it sounds small, but I did everything online and have not had to send paper docs back for like 6or7 years), secondly, when I signed up I spoke to one of there operators and explained I would be selling the car at some point so wouldn't be keeping the policy for the full duration. When I did cancel it, I got a bill for the full 12 months less what ihad paid. I then tried to explain that I hadn't had 12 months insurance and so shouldn't be charged for the full amount to which the grumpy lady on the phone just kept repeating that it was in my terms and conditions. Finally, when I tried to pay the additional sum apparently due, I couldn't get through on the phone to anyone! I ended up sending a cheque. Then I got a text message saying I hadn't paid. So I rang back (this time some one answered) and was told it was an error as the cheque had been banked the same day. 1 week later I get another text message saying I owe them money!!! Safe ylto say I won't be using sureterm again. Ever.
