“I was horrified when I changed to a car that was an import so they were unable to insure it. They were very mean and spiteful. They were unable to insure the car and when the new insurers contacted them to confirm information they told them I had never had insurance with them but had only ever got a quote, despite my having given the new insurers the policy number and relevant details, and despite the fact that they had - belatedly - sent me a confirmation of my 10 year plus NCB almost at the same time that they were denying all knowledge of me to the new insurers. I telephoned them to complain but naturally one only ends up lambasting a call centre operator who was personally not responsible for the fiasco.”
“Always have my direct debits taken out of my bank on the 1st of every month. Noticed very quickly that my monthly payments were to be taken out on the 11th of every month. Whether this was my mistake or the company not sure. I rang and asked them about making the payment on the 1st of every month. Quite a large charge for this to be done. As I will only be using for this company for this year I declined, didn't agree with the charge of just switching over the payment dates.”
