“Shockingly poor.
They cancelled my car insurance by accident. Apparently another clients insurance should've been cancelled but they cancelled mine by mistake. If I hadn't checked my bank statement (as I do regularly anyway), and noticed my April 2015 Direct Debit hadn't been deducted, I would have been completely unaware of this scenario - and more importantly, would have been driving illegally through no fault of my own.
It was all subsequently sorted - after I got in touch with them I hasten to add (not the other way around). My insurance was reinstated soon after I notified them of the situation - although it took them an inordinate amount of time to sort out to my satisfaction (i.e. almost another 2 months before they completed their investigation as to what had happened and notified me of the circumstances behind their significant error).
Hopefully this was a ‘one off’ screw up on their part, but I cannot put my hand on my heart and recommend Post Office Insurance Services to potential new business customers.”
