“This company firstly was very good, or so I thought. I changed my car and had to pay £150 for a new black box plus an extra premium to cover the higher insurance which was fine until less than 3 weeks later (when my policy was in the last 30 days) instead of receiving a renewal quote I received a letter stating that my circumstances were unacceptable for renewal so I will have to go elsewhere for next year and so will lose my supposed excellent driver discount of 25%. I am disgusted at this as if my new car was too high a group to insure I should have been told when I changed my policy not after I had paid out extra money to get it all changed over! What's worse is the fact that I won't be refunded for at least the new ibox I had fitted which by my policy end day will have been in my car a matter of weeks. Very poor service carrot.”
“Great policy but the limits on the number of journeys that you can make really affects their account of my driving on the telecematics box. I purchased a business policy as an estate agent, with carrot was almost half the cost than without a telecematics box by other providers, although the the cash rewards are a good incentive I cannot refuse work and not drive to appointments in order to keep the driving score high.”
