“Very pleased with my HP Renew laptop, the transaction was very straightforward, delivery was fast and the price excellent. The laptop was very much in new condition; looked completely unused with no marks or scratches. It took a little time to get it running properly but I'm not compaining, still great value for the price.
Specific issues were that the battery was fully discharged, took a while to get it to charge. I expect this is a drawback with a Renew laptop which may have stood for some time. Don't know how this will affect battery longevity but it's not an issue for me as I alway use mains power. Also, the installed version of Windows 11 was quite old, a version unsupported in 2025. This meant updating was not as staightforward as it could have been, another drawback with Renew laptops perhaps.
All this may sound a bit negative but I really couldn't be happier with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Compadvance. I got a quality, hi-spec machine at a fantastic price. Just bear in mind that it may take a bit longer to get get a Renew laptop updated and running properly.”
