“This is the 3rd Cleva product I've bought and I'm delighted once again. I acquired it for use in a workshop and was impressed with its power and manoeuvrability. It trundled along after me, the power cable playing out of the machine when required (and it just winds back in afterwards) and it's quiet - I could even hear the radio over it. Very impressed, I brought it into the house - where we usually use a Cleva upright, rechargeable. The D8 lifted the carpet as I cleaned - the suction is terrific for such a relatively small motor compared to our old Panasonic 1900w! On tight piled carpets it was easy to use but on thick pile carpets in the living room and bedroom, it was hard work and I prefer an upright. The acid test was picking up discarded sewing threads, where the revolving brush of the Cleva upright comes into its own. The D8 did manage to do it but only after repeatedly going over and over the thread. I used the crevice tool and dusting brush briefly in a quick valeting of the back of the car. Excellent! The suction and the tools made the onerous job as easy as it can be, and I now understand why there's a slot in the crevice tool as the suction would just stick it to the carpet or seat. One request for Cleva, as I didn't read the instruction book - put a sticker on the machine saying 'Bags inside, do not switch on'. I did and had the inside of the cylinder, the bags and filter to clean before setting it up properly! My fault. Very happy with my purchase.”

“The Vacmaster D8 looks very stylish. I love the colours. It's compact and extremely powerful. It moves easily and has a long lead allowing me to hoover a large area without looking for another plug. I found I only needed to use one extension pipe for most jobs although the second is useful for reaching higher areas. The additional heads are also useful. It was easy to put together, although the instruction book was a little confusing as the index of parts was not next picture with numbers on. I am very happy with my purchase and will certainly recommend it.”
