“This a simple cloth bag. My free tote back could do the same job? Well now I know!”

Thank you for your review. We find cloth is the best material to use as a pre-filter for the following reasons: 1. It's durable, so it repels debris back into the tank which protects and prolongs the life of your filter, which in turn prolongs the life of your vacuum cleaner. 2. It's washable, which means it doesn't have to be replaced often. 3. It's breathable, which is vital in allowing air to move through your vacuum cleaner, as this prevents the motor from over-heating. “Stops fine dust well(tested it with cold fire ash and it didn’t let any past) so it doesn’t get caught in the main filter and when you empty the vacuum it can simply be shaken clean or brushed off, I haven’t even needed to wash it yet.”
