“The hamper was a silver wedding anniversary gift, and the recipients were very pleased with the contents. However, I requested the hamper to be delivered on July 12th, the date of the anniversary. Despite confirmation of the order noting the 12th, the hamper was delivered on the 11th. Better early than late, you could say, but as the recipients were expected to be away on the 11th, the 12th it had to be. Very fortunately, they returned early. If they hadn't, that would, I assume, have caused an extra journey for your courier.”
