FinishKare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant

Developed from a West German process called synthesis FinishKare 1000P is a blend of advanced pure synthetic materials.

FinishKare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant is a legendary synthetic paste wax renowned for its incredible durability, high-temperature resistance, and show-car gloss. Originally developed for the aerospace and marine industries, 1000P uses advanced polymer resins and high-temperature synthetic ingredients to provide an exceptionally tough, heat-resistant layer of protection that outperforms traditional carnauba waxes.

This professional-grade sealant creates a deep, glassy, wet-look shine that enhances all paint colours while forming a hard, protective shell that repels water, dirt, UV rays, road salt, and industrial fallout. Its high-temperature tolerance makes it perfect for vehicles exposed to harsh conditions, such as daily drivers, show cars, and even motorcycles or marine finishes.

Easy to apply and effortless to buff, FinishKare 1000P delivers months of protection from a single application. Its slick, anti-static surface also helps reduce dust build-up, keeping your vehicle cleaner for longer and making maintenance effortless.

Super tough durability Easy to buff off (assuming thin layer application and relevant cure time) Massive tin Such a flexible product in that you can use it on alloys, exhausts, paint and trim. Works really well under a wax, almost like a bullet-proof vest with a tuxedo over the top ;)

I was recommended to try this product after struggling with my Red FTO goiing various shades of pink and even grey in parts any time the sun shines. (It's a mix of straight gloss touchups and factory clearcoat). I tried AG SRP, Extra Gloss protection over SRP as well as my previous favourite wax, Prima Banana Gloss all to no avail. SRP on it's own lasted a couple of days, all the others would be back to pink within hours. FK1000 isn't perfect, but it does keep the car acceptable for around a week or 2 in the summer before it finds it's way back to pink again. A little goes a long way however, and I'm still on my sample tin after over a year of fortnightly waxing. I've found it can be difficult to apply as it's quite a dry wax and doesn't spread too far, particularly if the paint hasn't been polished before hand. (In such cases I prefer Banana Gloss), but despite what feels like constant reloading of the applicator very little is actually used. Removal is easy with a microfibre cloth, a little harder on other plain cloths. Longevity is good, Beading is good and gloss is good, though I have noted some hologramming. Overall it's a Brilliant wax, and I'm about to start experimenting with some other waxes over it to further enhance the look.

First time I have used this product in conjunction with the menzerna compound and polish following clay barring. Very easy to apply and polish as long as you leave it to haze. Superb finish, looking forward to see how long the finish lasts.

I've used this before and find it long lasting and hard wearing. I use it on an old Land Rover and don't polish it off so it lasts even longer. It's easy to apply and you can get it in the edges with a small brush. Delivery was very fast, cheers.

This came highly recommended from a friend who praised how easy to apply and remove it is. He wasn't wrong. I first applied using a MF cloth using fingertips to create small overlapping swirls. After 15 minutes of drying time I worked it in using a DA polisher with a super soft Hex Logic Red pad at a low speed. Then buffed with a soft cloth. It added a nice final touch to a polish process. The hose test was incredible - water hitting the car gathered into a huge blobs and just ran straight off. Hopefully it'll last until at least the spring, I'd be happy with that. Unfortunately I haven't got a garage to store the car in so I can't test how it performs after leaving to cure overnight. I've heard this is great for people in high temperature environments so it seems to be a product you could use out in the sun. A good option if like me you haven't got a garage to keep the car in the cool.

Bought this to protect my new alloys and wow. Blown away!! Easy to apply by pad/microfibre and lovely finish achieved in no time. Will be giving the bodywork a couple of spreadings after current lsp is in need of a top up. I hear it's great for protecting from the winter elements.
