VERTOOL® - Force Drive Polisher

The Vertool ® Force drive is a gear driven dual action polisher that offers the safety of a dual action polisher with the cut of a rotary.

Unlike regular dual action polishers, with the Vertool® Force Drive, the actual random oscillations are driven by the motor which means the polisher never slows or bogs down on curves and under load like traditional dual action polishers. However at the same time it retains all the safety and usability benefits of a dual action polisher. The lower rotational rate means that heat isn't generated as quick and that there is far less chance of generating holograms as part of the finishing process.

This is probably technically the best polisher on the market at it's price point, with un-rivaled power & fantastic build quality.

Importantly the polisher is supplied with two backing plates, both a 5" (125mm) & 6" (150mm) allowing far greater flexibility and pad choice as well as a high quality canvas carry case.

Specifications:

Rate Power Input: 1200w
Polishing wheel diameter: 125mm & 150mm
Rated Input Voltage: 240V ~ 50/60Hz
No load speed: 160 - 480rpm
Random Orbital Speed: 3200-9600rpm
Orbit Size: 8mm

Supplied with a D-Handle, Spare Set of Brushes & Spanner, Canvas Carry Case.

Over the moon with the buff, forced drive is great, gives great cut and results even on a fairly mild pad and compound. Used a light cut pad and Menzerna 2400 on my black caddy and the results were amazing, massive step on from my old standard DA polisher.

This was a present for my other half for Christmas. He was so excited when it arrived that he opened it then and there and went straight out and started cleaning the cars. It’s was great weekend as I not dry humped and left alone

After using this machine heavily over the last 6 month and just completing a 50 car machine polishing contract l can honestly say the force drive matches up to the 3401. Never had a problem with it and still going strong after at least 100 paint correction jobs. Highly recommended. Jays mobile valeting

I have been using a 15mm krauss dual action polisher for a few months and when working over a long period of time my arm aches. This is so much better smoother, cuts better than a standard dual action and saves time which is money. Great value for money. Does require some holding onto if you are cutting at higher speed settings but in all honesty, with merzerna 400 and 3500 the finish I got on this machine was easily achieved, deep, glossy and wet.

Already being the owner of a DAS6-Pro and Das6-Pro+ along with the shine mate Rotary bundle all from CYC. I was fortunate enough to receive This Froce drive polisher. It came with a carry bag, additional plate and black polishing pad. At first glance the machine is comparable in size to the Das6 Pro+ (maybe slightly larger) I noticed straight away that the machine was noticably heavier as is to be expected with the extra gearing. I tried the machine on a bonnet with several contours and a large, flat side panel of a van. I would say that striaght away you can certainly 'feel' that the machine has so much more 'bite' than a DA and even a rotary. On large flat panels it performed brilliantly and inspired confidence to anyone trying it for the first time. I did however, find myself shying away from any panel edges or contours on the bonnet as i could see this machine eating through the thinner paint in no time. Not to say that this is a negative, but its a case of 'correct machine for the correct job' In an effort to keep the review balanced i would say that the machine is well packaged, well presented, of good qaulity and makes short work of any large panels compared to a rotary or DA. On the other side i would say that ergonomically, for me personally, I found the speed control tricky to reach on the fly and after a while, the additional weight was certainly noticeable in the forearms. All in all i wouldnt hesitate in recommending this to anyone with previous experience in machine polishing. for beginners i would recommend sticking with a DA until you are well versed in using a machine. Cracking job CYC team!
