Vertool® DAS-21E Dual Action Polisher - Menzerna Kit

This kit combines the completely revised Vertool DAS-21E Dual Action car polisher and the world renowned Menzerna Polish and Pad combination. Menzerna have been producing car polish compounds and accessories at OEM level to the worlds largest car manufacturers since 1888 and their quality and heritage shines through. Menzerna polishes are possibly the most technologically advanced and refined polishes in the industry and are seen as class leaders in their sector. This kit contains 250ml of some of the key polishes they manufacture.

This kit contains 250ml of the two 'special edition' polishes. The mighty Heavy Cut 400 and Super Finish 3500. Menzerna Heavy Cut 400 is capable of removing heavy swirls and scratches but finishes so fine, on harder paints further refinement is sometimes not required. However this kit does come bundled with the brilliant Menzerna Super Finish 3500 which is a true finishing polish but again when used on it's own offers surprising levels of cut. Together they are as effective as any polish combination on the market.

The all new Vertool DAS-21E Dual Action Polisher set a new standard in machine polishing technology. With an large orbit of 21mm, the dual action polisher has evolved to become a leader in efficient cutting power while still maintaining the safe operation expected from a DA polisher. The Vertool DAS-21E is powered by a large 900W motor, and even with the massive 21mm orbit still operates smoother and more quietly than traditional dual action polishers.

“This is my first foray into the world of machine polishing and I wanted a tool that could give me a good level of cutting power but finish down nicely and be safe in doing so. After doing some research online I found this to be an imitation of the Rupes Bigfoot 21ES Mark II which is considered the best large throw DA within the detailing community but at £400+ it was considerably out of my price range as a detailing enthusiast. Don't let the word imitation fool you though, this feels solid, well built and just as nice in the hand as the Rupes I borrowed off a friend. Dave from CYC recommended this Menzerna pad/polish combination and the results were fantastic. The heavy cut 400 on the white pad powered through all the random deep scratches and heavier swirling in my black paint but finished to a surprisingly high level of gloss for such cutting power. Finished off with the super finish 3500 on the soft black pad left a fantastically deep shine and jewelled the paint beautifully. A word of warning though; the first generation of DA polishers like the original das 6 weren't very powerful so if you put too much pressure on the pad the free spinning axle wouldn't spin acting like a safety feature. This machine is considerably more powerful so takes an excessive amount of force for it to bog down so technique is more key here but spend time practising and let the tool do the work and the results will surprise you! The only downside is the smallest backing plate you can fit to this is a 5" so properly polishing your bumpers, door jams, mirrors etc wont be possible but CYC stock the Shine Mate EP03 which I've recently added to my arsenal and the combination of the flexibility and precision of the mini rotary and the speed and efficiency of the DAS 21E combined is a machine combination as good as any on the market today.”

“Very happy with the buying experience. Next day delivery. Well packed. The Machine itself is very powerful and makes my old (broken) DA6 look / feel and perform like a Childs toy!! The Menz combo I chose was also good. The "Heavey cut" polish was good but did struggle to take out the defects (1000grit) but my Megs 101 made quick work. Finished with the Megs 2500fine polish. Really "jewled" the finish. The pad combo in the kit was also perfect.”
