Tuf Shine - Tyre Cleaner 22oz

Tuf Shine spent 5 years developing their Tyre Cleaner. They wanted to create a cleaner that contained no acids, was non-caustic, would remove old silicone dressings, and was biodegradable. It might have seemed like an impossible task, but Tuf Shine managed it with their Tyre Cleaner.

We believe this is the best dedicated rubber cleaner on the market. It works quickly to penetrate the rubber and release road grime and previous tyre dressing and chemicals applied to the tyre leaving just clean fresh rubber. Simply spray on and scrub with a high quality tyre brush such as the Tuf Coat Tyre Cleaning Brush and work the surface thoroughly. Much like with paintwork, preparation is the key to the best finish and this is also the case with tyre dressings, especially if you are going to apply the amazing Tuf Coat Tyre Clearcoat which if applied to clean uncontaminated rubber will reward you with many months of deep black protected rubber.

This fantastic rubber cleaner therefore makes it the perfect product for quickly deep cleaning rubber car mats.

Tuf Shine Tyre Cleaner is safe to use on all wheels and paints.

Tuf Shine Tyre Cleaner Instructions:

Spray Tuf Coat Tyre Cleaner onto the dry tyre and leave for 1 minute.
Wet a tyre brush with clean water and scrub around any raised lettering and grooves. Follow this by scrubbing in the direction of the grooves before finally scrubbing at a 90 degree angle to the grooves.
Using a hose pipe, clean the brush thoroughly. (using a bucket to rinse the brush can allow silicones back onto the tyre)
Repeat this process until the tyres are completely clean, you’re looking for the suds to turn white, this will tell you the tyre is clean.
Rinse the tyre with a hose, the tyre will look dull, but this is a clean tyre ready for dressing.

NOTE: Do Not use in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces. Do Not allow the cleaner to dry onto the wheel or paint

22oz (625ml) Bottle with Trigger Sprayer

This tyre cleaner really works. Removed stubborn stains from my classic car tyres and left a nice natural finish, not glossy. Would recommend.

Ok so I have years worth of tyre shine on my tyres I have never cleaned them I just re apply mainly used megs tyre shine stuff. So I wanted to give them a good clean and the previous cleaner didn’t touch them so I gave up. I was recommended this stuff to try so bought a couple of them. Wow it has definitely cleaned them up, I have given them a good scrub and have used both sprays, they are not perfect but certainly so much better. I would recommend.

Amazed at how much this product removes from the rubber. Once clean it is particularly good for Gyeon Tire which i use, as this needs to bond directly to the rubber.

Cleans tyres up nice. On my second pass had white suds and the tyres were pretty bad. Also i used Tuf tyre brush to scrub tyre wall after 1 minute of allowing the cleaner to do it's work x2 each wheel.

Was recommended this for the white walls of my Lambretta. Brilliant stuff! Makes the white wall and any tyre look like new again. With minimal effort!

Got all the old dressing off my tyres when it had built up to an unsightly level. Great on rubber floor mats too

Realising that once I have applied tyre dressing and then driven down the road and noticing that the tyre dressing was no longer present. I decided to purchase a specific tyre cleaner. This one seem to be the most popular on a certain car detailing forum. It does work.

I've never used a dedicated tyre cleaner, but since I was giving my summer wheels a thorough cleaning I thought I'd give it a go. It does seem to have fairly thoroughly cleaned the rubber, leaving it very matt and with minimal dirt on the cloth as I dried them off. Not sure if it has done any better than a standard soapy wash solution would, but will see how the tyres shine up when I treat them. Bottle hasn't lasted very long, but was being pretty liberal.
