“Fantastic. I’ve had this in the garage since last Christmas, needed to find the dry weekend with time for the appropriate prep - Chemical Guys Clean Slate shampoo, BH clay with dodo juice lube, tar removal (Sonax and Tardis) where needed, followed by 2-stage machine polish with the DAS6/Menzerna combo. Much like when I started machine polishing, I wish I had used this sooner. As others have said, really easy to apply with the supplied applicators. Prepare was misted over the clean panels and MF wiped off, then Basecoat with the sponge. I tried the cloth over this, but couldn’t get along with it. Was happy to put up with the squeaking sponge ! I did also buy myself the Sonax Ultrafine microfibre 3 pack so that I had new, premium and very soft cloths for the polishing-off at each stage. I too had to apply this outside over a weekend, as the SUV won’t fit in the garage. The finish was terrific. It had really deepened the blue metallic paint, and given an extra gloss, way beyond my previous waxing with BH double-speed wax. In the multi-story car park next day, it was well-lit and I was really pleased to see a flawless mirror finish without any scratches or swirls. Rain performance and dirt resistance was incredible. I normall wash every weekend as the car does 750 miles per week, but with this I’ve been able to wait 3 weeks as the car just didn’t get as dirty as usual. Accepting it has been a dry-spell, but even so I’m really pleased. I had previous experience of a new car protected by dealer-applied Gtechniq Platinum, which didn’t last a year, so if I can get a year or more from this I’ll be very pleased. Thanks to the advice above, I’ve bought Sonax PNS for a 6-month top-up, I was already a BSD user and will continue. From what I’ve read I need to avoid using the BH Auto Foam snow foam, which being alkaline will harm the coating. Given how easy it was to clean today, I may not need snow foam but will invest in a pH neutral product just in case. So if you’re considering this, I would heartily recommend it, very easy to apply once you’ve been through the endless prep !”

“If your someone who loves that glossy just waxed look i Would highly recommend this product. Its real easy to apply for any diyer and comes with easy to follow instructions. The water beads like crazy on the coating and Helps remove any dirt from the paint work. The kit is enough to cover two vechicles easily.”

“This is a brilliant product for those who do not have access to a garage or under cover area for using other ceramic coatings such as Gyeon for example. After decontamination and machine polishing I applied the CC36 coating using the prep, stage one ceramic coating and lastly the stage two gloss coat. It is very easy to apply and buff off when following the clear instructions with the kit. The gloss finish is outstanding as is the water repellency. If you are thinking about a ceramic coating and want to avoid anything more complicated this product is exactly what you are looking for. I will be purchasing the Sonax Polymer Net Shield as a 6 monthly top up to prolong the protection as recommended but Sonax.”
