The ShineMate EB212 is a cordless dual action polisher designed for spot polishing and correction.
Weighing in at just 0.78kg, this compact and lightweight polishing machine is a dream to manoeuvre around and reduces fatigue during long periods of use. It’s made from high precision CNC parts and is perfect for polishing areas that larger machines would struggle with.
This machine has a 12mm orbit size and a brushless motor. It uses motor direct drive technology and doesn’t have gears, meaning it runs at a low noise level. The CNC high-precision parts ensure the machine is low vibration for smooth polishing. We genuinely believe there is no smoother car polisher on the market.
The EB212 has an ergonomic slim body design and features a rubberised handle making it comfortable to hold for both short and long periods of polishing.
Equipped with a 10.8V lithium battery, it offers an autonomy of approximately 45-50 minutes and requires the same time for a full charge.
The direct drive system ensures stable rotation even when moderate pressure is applied, improving defect removal consistency compared to free-spinning micro polishers. The compact body and ergonomic design enhance control during intricate polishing tasks.

The EB212 is the kind of mini polisher we like because it feels purpose-built rather than “small for the sake of it”. When we’re working around mirrors, bumpers, pillars, door cups and all the awkward curves where a full-size DA is just clumsy, this is exactly the sort of machine we want in hand. It’s light (around 0.78kg), easy to manoeuvre, and it doesn’t feel like it’s fighting us.
Spec-wise, we’re getting a 12mm throw with a 3-inch backing plate, running on ShineMate’s 10.8V battery platform. The speed range is aimed right at spot correction work (roughly 4000–7000 OPM across six steps), and the brushless, direct-drive setup (no gears) is a big part of why it feels so smooth and quiet in use.
What we rate most is the balance: it’s compact, but it doesn’t feel underpowered for its size, and the control you get on edge cases and tight panels is miles better than trying to “make do” with a larger machine. For us, the EB212 is a proper detailer’s tool — not a novelty — and a really smart upgrade if we’re doing a lot of intricate correction work.
