Autoglym Polar Wash - coating-safe shampoo for foam lances or bucket washing

Autoglym Polar Wash is a safe and effective cleaner that should be applied using a pressure washer with a foam gun after pre-washing with a snow foam such as Autoglym Polar Blast. This impressive cleaner will cover your vehicle in a blanket of foam that makes light work of dirt, traffic film and road grime removal.

Autoglym Polar Wash is a shampoo designed specifically for use in a pressure washer. It is intended to be the wash element (second stage) of the three-stage Polar range process. It is preceded by the prewash – Polar Blast and followed by a coating - Autoglym Polar Seal.

2.5 Litre Bottle

How to use this product:

Before you start, check that the bodywork and wheels are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight.
We recommend a pre-wash with Autoglym Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt. If not, rinse first with water to loosen heavy contamination.
Polar Wash can be used at various dilutions depending on the density of foam desired. However, we would not recommend using a dilution stronger than 50:50. Adjust foam gun settings as required to increase or reduce foam. 250ml of mixed solution should be enough to cover an average sized car.
Spray Polar Wash onto the vehicle, starting at the bottom, ensuring all exterior surfaces are covered, including glass and wheels.
The cleaner will begin to loosen dirt on all surfaces. For the most thorough clean we recommend agitating the foam with a sponge or wash mitt.
Rinse thoroughly from the bottom up and dry.

Autoglym Polar Wash is not suitable for use on soft top convertibles.

“Good foam, works well. Yes it produces a nice amount of foam for that "just snowed" look but more importantly it lifts dirt. Would buy again”

“Brilliant shampoo designed to use with foam cannon or in a pressure washer reservoir. I snow foamed first using Bilt Hamber Auto Foam. Rinsed and then applied the Polar Wash mixed 150ml to 150ml of water in my foam cannon. It was easily enough to completely cover my car. Left it to dwell for about 5 minutes even though I could have left it longer as it was a cold day. I then filled a bucket with warm water and a capful of ONR (optional). Using a wash mitt I wiped over the panels rinsing the mitt in the bucket of water after each panel. Only used the one bucket. Polar Wash is incredibly smooth and it was lovely to use. I would definitely advise not to use a soaking wet dripping mitt as it runs the product off too quickly. Just dip your mitt in the rinse water and ring it out so it’s still lubricated but not soaking wet. I don’t think this is a product I would use in the summer time because of how you apply it. It could dry out before you’ve finished although this is just a guess as it’s winter at the moment and I’ve yet to use it in the hotter months. Overall I’m impressed and I would definitely recommend Polar Wash especially if you like using your foam cannon.”

“Comes out with for foam than I expected, but soon thins out to leave a good shampoo coverage. Very easy to work with, and I'm happy with the results.”
